Quality Control
 
All trees are graded into 3 different grades. ( See Tree Grading). To ensure you are quite clear as to the grade of tree you have received, we label every tree with a quality tag as follows:

Denotes Premium quality, our first grade tree.
   
Denotes Standard quality, our second grade of tree.
   
Denotes our third grade.


The Luxury Tree

We also offer an exclusively graded tree that is the “crème de la crème”. This is denoted by a gold label.

Tracing Our Trees

Each of our trees carries a unique number code which tells us where the tree was grown, and what processes were carried out on the tree. In this way we have complete traceability of our trees, not only being able to tell you who grew the tree, but how the tree was grown.



Tree Sizing

Each tree is labelled with a retail label which carries clear care instructions for your customer. The labels are coloured as shown below to denote the size of tree – and for those of us who still think in old measure we have given you the imperial equivalents!


How to Measure your Tree

Cut trees are measured from where the tree is cut to where the top whorl of branches touches the leader when folded up.
(Shown below as between points X and Y).

Potgrown Trees are measured from the top of the pot when standing on the ground to the tip of the leader. (Shown below by the green line).



The Unique Tear Off Strip!

All our labels have a unique tear off strip which allows your customer to buy their tree without carrying it through the till!

With Needlefresh Point oF Sale you can advise your customer that once they have chosen their tree, they can tear off the uniquely numbered bar code and take this rather than the tree to the till to pay for it. Once it is paid for they can ensure they collect their carefully chosen tree by matching the number on their tear off strip with the number on the main part of the label which will be identical
