Yes, The trees and the plantations are the home for thousands of insects and large animals.
Growing Christmas trees is long term progressive husbandry. As soon as a trees is removed they are replaced by at least 2 to 3 new trees, these smaller trees harbour insects and small mammals a completely new eco-system starts to grow with the trees. Although some animals are harmful to the trees they are good for the eco-system so our growers divert the animals from the vulnerable trees without harming them. Even dead used Christmas trees are used to put into lakes and rivers, where the fish use the natural cover.
