MEASURE IT

When measuring for the tree you require, measure floor to ceiling  C

A Allow at least 40cm. above the topmost leader of the tree to clear the ceiling. If you are going to have a fairy or star at the top add this to the 40cm (e.g. Star, when fitted is 10cm above the tree, add to the 40cm - 10cm + 40cm = 50cm). This will give you enough clearance to lift your tree into and out of your container.

If your tree is going to sit in a container, allow for any padding underneath the base of the trees trunk (for example if you place it on a small extra piece of carpet or an old tile to protect your floor carpet or covering)  B  Add this to your ceiling allowance.

NOW ADD  B  TO  A  AND SUBTRACT FROM  C  THE ANSWER  X  IS THE MAXIMUM HEIGHT OF A TREE FOR THAT ROOM

Dont forget to get an idea of the width of the tree you require  W and take care to measure the width before the tree is put into its net.
