The colour of the tree is also important, Light blue trees go very well with light contemporary homes but they will also look brighter in a dark corner.
Darker trees will look perfect outside and in dark rooms if they have good lights, where they will show the lights to their full potential.
As you may imagine, it is best to have a good look at the room where it will stay measure the height of the room, you don’t want one too small, on the other hand it will not look good scraping the ceiling. It is nice to have a great big tree in a hallway but a lot of the Christmas fealing is then lost in the lounge, think about having two trees!
Don’t be afraid to trim the back of a tree so that it fits closer to the wall/corner. Sometimes a bargain can be had with a tree that is not equilateral, look for one that has an excellent side and the lesser side will go against the wall. This also means you will need less decorations!
Think beforehand what you are going to put your tree in.
A good stable base is essential, the larger the tree the heavier and wider the base will need to be. There are many stable bases available on the market, unless you have a large container that is heavy enough not to move and will allow you to water the tree, buy a good metal holder that has a reservoir for water. It is worth the investment in as for most it is a one off purchase which will last for years, ask your local Needlefresh stockist.
Make sure you and your little helpers always wear garden gloves when handling the trees. Some people may get a mild allergic reaction Christmas trees are a natural product and when bought from a peputable company through a peputable retailer will have been treated, if needed, with food grade chemicals as a necessity. Be safe and then enjoy the result.
